ATLAS History
First established in 1962 as a record library in Market Street Singapore, ATLAS has evolved into the stalwart of the audio and visual industry in Malaysia & Singapore today. The founder of the company, the late Mr A B Tien, branched out from the record library business into offering advice for sound systems, and eventually to providing premium equipment for quality sound. With his passing in August 2003, his son Dr. Michael Tien took over the helm of the business.
Driven by a passionate and intricate knowledge of the industry, the business continued to thrive under the new stewardship. Today, it asserts its presence with several retail stores conveniently located around Malaysia & Singapore. Not only does ATLAS offer audio visual entertainment to homes, it provides premium audio visual solutions to businesses – institutions, houses of worship, offices, restaurants, places of attraction and even spas.
